Mud daubers are black and yellow, thread-waisted, solitary wasps that build a hard mud nest, usually on ceilings and walls, attended by a single female wasp. They are not social wasps but may be confused with them. They do not defend their nests and rarely sting. During winter, you can safely remove the nests without spraying.
THIS is what I just took out of my room, what is even scarier is that this is the second one I've found.......hmmmmmm... he is now contained in a clear plastic jar so that I may study his every move and plan for future attacks..... I have one this battle, and the last one, hopefully my new found expertise of wearing a bright yellow jacket and plaid pyjama pants will continue to render their powers usless against me muwhahahahah....
BUT really...thats gross, really gross, and really I kept the little bugger to show it off and creep people out hehe

yikes! That's disgusting! It's too bad you even had to see it, let alone remove it from your room.
